Weekly, monthly and daily standings
An all-time ranking mainly rewards whoever has been around longest and is quickly out of reach for newcomers. That is why we add a weekly and a monthly standing that reset regularly. So every week starts a fresh race, and even someone who just began can be near the top within days. The daily standing is decided by the shared puzzle of the day.
Fox ranks to climb
Alongside the leaderboards you collect points for your personal fox rank. Each tier has its own motif, and the rank progress shows you exactly how many points remain to the next tier. That gives a steady goal away from the very top too, no matter how many others are active right now.
Points that are fair and cheat-proof
Points depend on difficulty, time, mistakes and stars; fast and clean solving on higher levels counts most. For the leaderboard to mean something, the server re-checks every submitted result and computes the points itself. A faked best time never makes it into the list. Each level also counts only once, so nobody farms their way up by repeating.
